School Enterprise Challenge 2023 Program

The School Enterprise Challenge is simply an opportunity for young people to become entrepreneurs whilst still at school. 

That’s right! Students take the lead to set up a school-based business that generates real profits which they can use to support their school, wider community or a social cause. From idea to execution - it’s youth driven the whole way!

During the course of the programme, students learn about business (market research, financial literacy, etc.) and they also develop essential life skills (communication, problem solving, leadership, etc.) that they will need to succeed in the real world.

How does it work? 

The programme is divided into 3 simple steps: 

• Step 1: Business Idea 
• Step 2: Business Plan 
• Step 3: Annual Report

The money generated from the business is yours to keep and spend on whatever you like! 

For each of the steps we provide all the educational resources needed. All teams that complete the three steps receive an Award Level Certificate (Bronze, Silver or Gold) and the very best entries win a prize.

The School Enterprise Challenge is an international business programme for schools. Participating in the School Enterprise Challenge is easy and flexible. We provide all the resources and support you need to get started. Plus, there are no entry fees or minimum requirements - you can tailor the programme to fit the needs and interests of your students.

Free support :

• Once registered, you will have your own online account with easy access to all the educational resources to successfully run the programme in your school. 
• The School Enterprise Challenge organising team sends weekly newsletters and runs regular Webinars and online Q&As for teachers to support you with the day-to-day activities and submissions required in the programme.

Requirements for School Enterprise Challenge Program Qualification

• Open to all schools from all countries, including: pre-primary schools, primary schools, secondary schools and technical/vocational colleges.
• Not open to universities.

Interview date, Process and Venue for School Enterprise Challenge Program

 

For each of the steps we provide all the educational resources needed. All teams that complete the three steps receive an Award Level Certificate (Bronze, Silver or Gold) and the very best entries win a prize. 

Participants can submit any completed template (Business Idea, Business Plan or Annual Report) at any of the following submission dates:

• Tuesday 23rd May 2023

• Wednesday 23rd August 2023

• Thursday 23rd November 2023

All submissions received by Thursday 23rd November 2023 will be reviewed in early 2024 to determine eligibility for Award Level Certificates and prizes.
