Aim and Benefits of Ben Williams Student Support Grant

$14,000 per annum which maybe shared among multiple recipients

Requirements for Ben Williams Student Support Grant Qualification

The Grant shall be available to an applicant who:

• Is an international or domestic student;
• Is experiencing special difficulties and require financial assistance to continue and/or to complete their studies. Such cases as, but not exclusively related to, mental illness, disability, extended sickness or family issues are examples of those that may qualify for assistance; and,
• Is enrolled in either an undergraduate or postgraduate program offered by the Research School of Physics, such as Honours program in Physics, Bachelor of Philosophy (majoring in Physics), Bachelor of Science (majoring in Physics), Master of Nuclear Science, Master of Photonics, Master of Philosophy (specialising in Physics) and Doctor of Philosophy (specialising in Physics).

Selection process

A Selection Committee will make a recommendation for this Grant based on application and supporting documentation of applicants.  The Committee may divide the Grant between a number of applicants.
