Google in partnership with Maliyo Games has launched a training Bootcamp for beginner game developers that aims to take you from zero experience to creating android game titles published on the Google Play store.

Aim and Benefits of Games Developer Bootcamp

• Students will learn how to refine, package and develop casual mobile games.
• Students will learn development techniques, work on gameplay mechanics, and complete full game projects along the way.
• Students will be able to create popular games such as Candy Crush, Subway Surf, Mario Car, etc.

Requirements for Games Developer Bootcamp Qualification

• Live in Nigeria, Ghana or Kenya.
• Have a basic background in programming languages like C#, C++ and PHP.
• Have their own personal computer.
• Be available for the program that commences on August 16.

Interview date, Process and Venue for Games Developer Bootcamp

Those finally selected will go through virtual training from August 16 to December 23
