UWA's International Student Award is a fee reduction of $5000 per year for students from a range of select countries. The Award helps foster a diverse student community and enables more students from different nationalities to pursue their study and career goals with UWA.

About University of Western Australia (UWA)

University of Western Australia International Fee Scholarships (UIFS) are scholarships available to support international students enrolled in higher degrees by research (HDR) at The University of Western Australia ('the University'). The Research Training Program (RTP) is a dedicated pool of funding provided by the Australian Government under the Higher Education Support Act 2003 to support domestic and international students undertaking Research Doctorate and Research Master degrees. Aim and Benefits of UWA's International Student Award

To encourage and assist students from eligible countries to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification at the University.

Requirements for UWA's International Student Award Qualification

You will need to:

• Be a citizen from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand or Vietnam
• Apply to The University of Western Australia as an international student on an Australian student visa
• Study an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate course offered by the University and published in the UWA Handbook
• Be enrolled to study a full-time course load
