Queen Mary University of London, in partnership with MABECS, is pleased to offer two full fee scholarships to outstanding Malaysian postgraduate taught master's students for the 2025/26 academic year.
This scholarship is established in memory of Mr David Guard, honouring his remarkable kindness, his ability to inspire others, and his dedication to philanthropy. His legacy of selfless service and support for others will be forever commemorated through this scholarship. Our sincere thanks go to MABECS for their collaboration in making this opportunity possible.
The scholarship will be awarded to two high-achieving students commencing their studies in September 2025/26. Please note that it is not possible to defer the scholarship.
Queen Mary College was founded in the nineteenth century to provide education to working class people living in London�s East End. It originated from the People�s Palace Technical Colleges, which opened in 1887 and were funded by the Draper�s Company. Opened by Queen Victoria, the People�s Palace provided evening classes, a library, reading rooms and social activities. Its purpose resonates with Queen Mary today. Full tuition fee scholarship
Please note that students already registered and studying on a programme at Queen Mary University of London are not eligible for this award. These scholarships are only available for students who enrol in MSc Economics, MSc Finance, or an LLM programme at Queen Mary.
This is a competitive scholarship; please ensure you have fulfilled the eligibility requirements outlined above.
To apply for the scholarship students will need to be registered with MABECS andhave accepted an offer from Queen Mary University of London by the scholarship deadline of 30 June 2025.
