The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students in the second and subsequent years of the Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Systems and Security), Bachelor of Science (Physics) combined degree.
Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century. Each scholarship is funded by DST each scholarship will have a value of $3,000 paid in equal instalments after the census date of each semester. Up to 30 scholarships will be available per year for the duration of the funding, normally spread equally over the year levels.

Students who are enrolled part-time as a result of exceptional circumstances will be considered. Exceptional circumstances may include (but is not limited to) disability, illness or carer responsibilities. Pro-rata benefits will be paid in these instances.
Selection Criteria
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic performance in the topics comprising the combined degree. Scholarship selection will be made in accordance with approved procedures.
