We are seeking one outstanding candidate for PhD scholarship for a project entitled: Stakeholders’ perspectives of strategies to embed a culturally tailored iSupport model for carers of people with dementia in community aged care services. This exciting project is funded by a National Industry PhD Program: Industry linked PhD steam. Flinders University and Murray Mallee Aged Care Group, South Australia, are partners in the program.
The student will be based at Flinders University for 4 days a week (Principal supervisor Prof. Lily Xiao and Associate supervisor Prof. Kate Laver) and at Murray Mallee Aged Care Group for one day a week (supervisor Ms. Anna Howard). Associate supervision will be provided by the other members of the research team located at Flinders university.
Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century. The Project lead may invite you to apply and request a copy of your CV together with a covering letter outlining your relevant qualifications, experience, research experience and reasons for applying for the scholarship.
Applicants will be shortlisted and interviews will be held the week commencing 15st May 2025. Outcomes will be released by 22nd May 2025.
The successful candidate will ideally begin by 1st July 2025, subject to negotiation and not later than 1st August 2025.
