The University has established the Research Students Overseas Field Trip Grant. to provide funding towards overseas field trips for competent postgraduate research students whose theses would be greatly improved by the opportunity to undertake research and collection of data which is inaccessible in Australia.

The value of the grant will normally be $2500 towards travel and living expenses; travel insurance can be arranged through the University on request.

The Overseas Field Trip Grant shall be awarded by the University Higher Degree by Research Scholarships Committee which shall take into consideration the merit of both the applicant and the application, and the supporting statement/s provided by the applicant and supervisor. Awards are conducted in line with the Conditions of Award.
Applications should be submitted online through the Flinders University Student System by the specified closing date.
