The College of Medicine and Public Health has established Honours Scholarships to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students undertaking an honours research project within the College.
Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honour of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit as measured by the Grade Point Average (GPA) for the most recent 36 units of study at third year level (80%), as well as future aspirations, other academic achievements, summary of leadership skills, involvement in community or sporting activities or any other personal development opportunities (20%).
Selection will be made by a Committee comprising the Honours Coordinators (or two designated representatives from the Honours committee) and the Teaching Program Director (Developing Researchers) in the College of Medicine and Public Health.
