ElectHER is a non-partisan progressive women's political advancement organization bridging inequality gaps in African democracy, by advocating for and enabling women's leadership across appointive and elective office. Aim and Benefits of Future Lawmakers Programme

The programme is targeted at professionals who have a strong interest in politics and aspire to be elected as lawmakers at the federal or state assemblies across Nigeria and provides great opportunities for women.

Requirements for Future Lawmakers Programme Qualification

To be eligible for the ElectHER Future Lawmakers Programme 2021, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be an aspiring female lawmaker between the ages of 25 – 45 years and must have strong interest in politics.
• Must be committed to public service as evidenced in involvement in some form of community service and development project.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.

Application Deadline

How to Apply

Interested applicants for the ElectHER Future Lawmakers Programme 2021 are to apply online before the application deadline. Applicants are to submit a letter of recommendation from a past or current political office holder.
