To promote excellent basic research work, EUSP Scholarship offers a year long programme in a leading European research institution.
The EUSP recently redesigned its two scholarship programmes Clinical Visit and 1-Year Scholarship. Young urologists can still hone their skills in the time of the pandemic; but for the time being at leading certified host centres in their own countries.
Each year the EUSP Board contacts certified host institutions to check for basic research projects that can be taken up by a potential EUSP scholar. These projects will be published online and will be promoted during
EAU meetings and the Annual EAU Congress to inform urologists who are interested to apply. After the annual deadline, the EUSP Board will review all applications and select the best candidate for each project
The origins of our continent-wide Association stretch back to the early 1970s. In over forty years, the EAU has grown enormously in both membership and scope. The foundation of the EAU transcended the political climate that initially divided the continent, putting the improvement of patient care at the forefront of everything it does.
