Chancellor’s Award: $5,000 Renewable:
The Chancellor’s Award is a scholarship valued at $5,000 per academic year for international secondary school graduates entering their first year of study for an undergraduate degree at Algoma University. To qualify, candidates must be studying on a full-time basis (15 credits per term over Fall/Winter).
The President’s Award is an entrance scholarship valued at $2,500 for international secondary school graduates entering their first year of study for an undergraduate degree at Algoma University. To qualify, candidates must be studying on a full-time basis (12 credits per term over Fall/Winter).
The Dean’s Award is an entrance scholarship valued at $1,000 for international secondary school graduates entering their first year of study for an undergraduate degree at Algoma University. To qualify, candidates must be studying on a full-time basis (12 credits per term over Fall/Winter).
Award of Excellence: $500 Non-Renewable
The Award of Excellence is an entrance scholarship valued at $500 for international secondary school graduates entering their first year of study in an undergraduate degree at Algoma University. To qualify, candidates must be studying on a full-time basis (12 credits per term over Fall/Winter).
A student must achieve a minimum B average (or country equivalent) on their previous academic record.
Qualifying Criteria:
American citizens are not eligible for these scholarships, as they are already eligible for a significant tuition discount.
