Ishk was set up as the next step in a 100-year history of philanthropy at Tolaram.
In naming IshK Tolaram, our founder Mohan Vaswani combined the names of his parents, Ishwari and Khanchand and that of his grandfather, Seth Tolaram. 'Ishq' means love in the Sindhi language.
As a part of the Tolaram ecosystem, we are guided by the values, heritage and vision of an enterprise with roots in Asia, Africa and Europe.
