We are first and foremost about giving back to an institution that equipped us to not just withstand the later challenges of life but to thrive in spite of those challenges. The DFW branch is waxing stronger daily and becoming a well-known gathering of respectable members of the community. We currently have over 160 members in the local database about 50 of whom are very active in the association. The branch is uniquely blessed with members that are very comfortable in the company of one another, including our families, and always looking forward to the monthly meetings and other locally organized activities. Members get together to discuss ways to impact the lives of current pool of students lucky enough to attend Great Ife, and reminisce passionately on their own days in that great citadel of learning. Membership composition cuts across generations; from those that matriculated in the 1960s and the newer generations that matriculated in the 2000s. The branch is truly blessed
