BrushTu Art Collective, was founded in 2013 by three young artists to work toward a constructive purpose in the Kenyan art scene. We give an opportunity to our members to strengthen their sense of identity, meaning, and purpose in life via art. The collective's membership has increased to twelve artists, with a few more affiliated artists.
Our artwork is inspired by our surroundings, which we channel through visual art media including drawings, paintings, woodcut prints, sculpture, digital art, and found object assemblages .
