Western Sydney University 2022 Woolley Memorial Postgraduate Research Scholarship in Classics

This Scholarship has been established to provide support to students undertaking research in the Classics including language, literature history and cultures from ancient Greece and Rome from the eighth century BC to the eighth century AD.

About Western Sydney University (UWS)

The University of Western Sydney (UWS) began operation on 1st January 1989, under the terms of the University of Western Sydney Act, 1988 which had been passed by the New South Wales Parliament in December 1988. However, the predecessors of the University date back as far as 1891 with the establishment of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College. Aim and Benefits of Western Sydney University PhD Scholarship

The selected candidates will be provided a scholarsgip including a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate for up to 3.5 years

Requirements for Western Sydney University PhD Scholarship Qualification

• All domestic and international students can apply.
•  PhD in Classics and Ancient History at the School of Humanities at the University of Sydney can be applied for.
•  To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
• The applicants must be enrolled, intending to apply, applied for admission, have a conditional or unconditional offer of admission to study full-time.
