The University will be allocating one Undergraduate Sanctuary Scholarship in total in 2022/23. The scholarship is provided to support students who have been granted Indefinite Leave to Remain or Discretionary Leave to Remain by the home office. The selection is based on financial need and the merit of the application.
The Westminster story began in 1838, when Sir George Cayley opened the Polytechnic Institution at 309 Regent Street in London. One scholarship is available. The scholarship covers the full tuition fee cost and provides a maintenance payment of £6,000 per annum. Students will receive £6000 in each eligible year of study, subject to progression to next year of their course. The scholarship will be paid 50% in October and 50% in February into your nominated bank account each year. Students will not receive the yearly allowance if they are on a repeat year or a placement/sandwich year.
