The Mechanical Engineering Department awards a number of merit and need-based scholarships for new, transfer, and continuing majors. Each year, dozens of students receive scholarships in varying amounts totaling over $400,000. Students apply online between April 1 and May 1 for awards the following academic year. Need-based scholarships require submitting a prior FAFSA application. Transfer students, even if not admitted by May 1, should apply for our scholarships if needed. Awards will be contingent on admission to the Mechanical Engineering program.
