About University Of Sydney

When William Charles Wentworth proposed the idea of Australia’s first university in 1850, he imagined “the opportunity for the child of every class to become great and useful in the destinies of this country”. We’ve stayed true to that original value and purpose by promoting inclusion and diversity for the past 160 years. Aim and Benefits of University Of Sydney Scholars Awards

There are two Sydney Scholars Awards valued at $6000 per year, and are tenable for one to five years (including for combined undergraduate degrees):

1. $6000 per year for duration of undergraduate degree
2. $6000 for one year of undergraduate degree.

Requirements for University Of Sydney Scholars Awards Qualification

• Domestic or international student
• High academic achiever
• Applying for an undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney
