This scholarship is automatically awarded to eligible candidates. The discount of twenty per cent (20%) only applies to the first year of the Medicine (Graduate Entry) BMBS programme.
Please note that subsequent fees will be charged at the full amount, including an annual rise of four per cent.
In order to be eligible applicants must:
Students graduating in the summer of 2024 may be eligible, as well as alumni from previous years, on receipt of evidence of the award from Surrey and where we can identify that you studied in Guildford.
Associated institution students are not eligible.
The University will identify eligible students, so there is no application form for this scheme.
For eligible students, you must have firmly accepted your offer and enrolled on the course in September 2024. If you pay any tuition fees in advance, then the twenty per cent discount (based on the full fee amount for 2024/25) is deducted from the remaining balance.
