Our Health Heroes Scholarships are available to successful international applicants across a number of nursing and midwifery programmes in the academic years 2022-23 and 2023-24.
The University of Salford is a public research university in Salford, England, 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometres) west of Manchester city centre. The Royal Technical Institute, Salford, which opened in 1896, became a College of Advanced Technology in 1956 and gained university status, following the Robbins Report into higher education, in 1967.

Our Health Heroes Scholarships are available to successful international applicants across a number of nursing and midwifery programmes.
BSc Nursing Studies (Top Up)
Available to offer holders on our one-year nursing top-up programmes. This scholarship will reduce the tuition fee by £2,400.
MA Nursing (Adult)
Available to offer holders with a first or second class degree. This scholarship is worth £3,500 in year one only.
MSc Nursing
Available to offer-holders with a first or second class degree. This scholarship is worth £2,000.
MSc Midwifery
Available to offer-holders with a first or second class degree. This scholarship is worth £2,000.
You may apply for these scholarships if you have already been awarded a different scholarship. However, in line with our terms and conditions, you can only receive one scholarship – the one with the highest value.
There is no separate application process for these scholarships. You will be assessed when you apply for your chosen programme of study. If you are successfully offered this scholarship, you must accept your offer of admission and pay your tuition fee deposit by the deadline specified in order to receive the funding.
