Aim and Benefits of Australian Catholic University Bachelors

Successful applicants will receive scholarship valued at $4,000, to be paid in one lump sum. 

Requirements for Australian Catholic University Bachelors Qualification

• Applicants are required to provide the following as part of the application: 

• A written statement of approximately 400 words outlining: 
  • your contributions to community service; 
  • any hardships or barriers you have faced and the impact they have had on your path to higher education. This may include but is not limited to; excessive family or carer responsibilities, illness, financial hardship, English language difficulty, refugee background, disability, or coming from a rural, regional or remote location.   
• Evidence to support the hardship/s outlined in your written statement. This may include but is not limited to; a Centrelink statement, letter from a medical professional, visa document, Health Care Card, or a statutory declaration. 
• Two written references, these can be from any of the following:  
  • community engagement leader 
  • teacher
  • principal
  • religious leader

Applications are assessed based on the strength of the following criteria: 

• Written statement
• Contribution to community service and/or community engagement
• Hardship/s faced in accessing higher education
