The University of Manchester, in its present form, was created in 2004 by the amalgamation of the Victoria University of Manchester and the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST). There are 30 awards offering a 10% reduction in fees.
All home and overseas applicants holding an offer for an MA Education for a Sustainable Environment by distance learning are eligible. Candidates must apply and register as distance learning students in order to be considered for this scholarship.
Selection decisions are made on merit rather than financial need and the candidate's potential to contribute and enrich all aspects of the master's programme, including the diverse academic and cultural profie of the master's class.
There is no bursary application process. If you are eligible you will be considered automatically.
