Aim and Benefits of University of Manchester Masters Scholarship

Alliance Manchester Business School- Award of £7,500 for any AMBS master’s programme.

School of Social Sciences- Award of £5,000 for any SoSS master’s programme.

Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health- Award of £5,000 for any SoSS master’s programme.

Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health- Two awards of £5,000 are available for master’s programmes in the School of Health Sciences.

                                                               -Two awards of £5,000 are available for master’s programmes in the School of Biological Sciences.

                                                               -Two awards of £5,000 are available for the following master’s programmes in the School of Medical Sciences.

Faculty of Science and Engineering- Award of £10,000 for any taught master’s programme taught in the School of Engineering.

India Excellence PGT Scholarships - Award of £10,000 for any taught master’s programme taught in the School of Natural Sciences.

                                                              Seven awards of £7,500 for any taught master’s programme in the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

Requirements for University of Manchester Masters Scholarship Qualification

• Scholarships can only be awarded to offer holders who are domiciled in India.
• If a course/programme lasts longer than one year, the scholarships will be offered for the first year of study only.
• Scholarships can only be awarded to applicants who studied in India at all levels (school/college/ university) with the exception of students who completed their bachelor’s at The University of Manchester and previously studied in India.
• Scholarships will be offered at postgraduate taught level only.
• Scholarships can only be awarded to applicants who are classified by the University as an international tuition fee payer.
• As a condition of the award of a scholarship, recipients are required to take part in student ambassador and/or mentoring schemes.
• Scholarships are only available for September 2021 entry (a scholarship award may not be deferred).

Interview date, Process and Venue for University of Manchester Masters Scholarship

• Academic excellence over and above the criteria required for admission to the PGT programme selected.
• Proficiency in English language.
