University of Kent Future Student Scholarship for Nigerian Students 2024

Are you a Nigerian passport holder, or live in Nigeria, and are starting a full time taught undergraduate or postgraduate programme at one of our UK campuses in 2024? You could qualify for our new automatic Kent Future Student Scholarship, worth £5000.

This scholarship is for students beginning their degrees in September 2024 only, however advanced entry students starting their degree at Stage 2 or 3 are also eligible, as this will still be their first year of study at Kent.

Aim and Benefits of Kent Future Student Scholarship

If you receive an offer and pay your tuition fee deposit on or before 30 June 2024, you’ll get an automatic discount of £5,000 from your tuition fee, for one year of study. If you receive an offer and pay your tuition fee deposit on or before 31 July 2024, you’ll get an automatic discount of £3,000 from your tuition fee, for one year of study.

Requirements for Kent Future Student Scholarship Qualification

• Open to undergraduate and postgraduate taught applicants of full time UK programmes from OR domiciled in Nigeria, for September 2024 entry
• Applicants must have paid their tuition fee deposit by 30 June 2024 for a £5000 discount, or 31 July 2024 for a £3000 discount*
• You can hold the Kent Future Student Scholarship in addition to other awards and scholarships

Please note that this scholarship is only available to students assessed as overseas fee payers.

Applicants who have applied for an undergraduate course which includes a foundation year are not eligible.

Applicants who have applied for a Masters which includes an integrated pre-Masters are not eligible to receive the scholarship.

Applicants who have applied for distance learning programmes are not eligible.

Applicants who have applied for KMMS programmes are not eligible.

Applicants who have applied for the Finance (Dual Award) MSc are not eligible.

*Please note that these deadlines cannot be extended under any circumstances.

How to Apply

There is no application process. All eligible applicants who have paid their deposit by the stated deadlines will be contacted with a scholarship offer in due course, which they will need to accept.
