University of Greenwich Visionary Scholarship 2024-2025 (Up to £5,000)

University of Greenwich Visionary Scholarship is for students who have overcome adversity, engaged with us during school/college or their current studies and have been nominated by a teacher or adviser from their institution.

For many students, applying to university can be a difficult and daunting decision. We work closely with our targeted schools and colleges to support academic attainment and progression to higher education.

Aim and Benefits of University of Greenwich Visionary Scholarship

Thanks to a University of Greenwich alumni, we can offer two cash scholarships worth £5,000.

These are paid in three instalments during the student's first year of study with us.

 

Requirements for University of Greenwich Visionary Scholarship Qualification

Teachers can nominate students who meet the following criteria.

• They are one of up to two nominations from your institution.
• The student embodies our university values and has overcome adversity. More information about our values can be found here: This is our time 2030 Strategy.
• The student has applied through UCAS using the school or college centre name.
• They have received an offer from us to study a full-time undergraduate course (including extended programmes) paying the maximum tuition fee of £9250, commencing in September 2024.
• This course can be at our Greenwich, Avery Hill or Medway Campus (excluding the Medway School of Pharmacy).
• They have visited the university or engaged in preparatory progression activities offered by the University of Greenwich in school/college.

Interview date, Process and Venue for University of Greenwich Visionary Scholarship

A committee will review all applications and award scholarships on merit.

We aim to make our decision by 6 June 2024.

We invite teachers/advisers within our network to nominate students who have received an offer to study a full-time undergraduate course starting in September 2024.

Applications for 2024/25 will close at Midnight on 24 May 2024.
