The Rudolph Scholarship provides one-year, partial tuition scholarships for students in UChicago’s undergraduate College who will be continuing their studies in an eligible UChicago Master’s or professional program in the year after they graduate.
The scholarship is named in memory of Susanne H. Rudolph, the William Benton Distinguished Service Professor Emerita of political science and former master of the Social Sciences Collegiate Division. This scholarship continues Professor Rudolph's legacy of dedicated service to students in the College.

CLASS OF 2023 SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY AND AWARD AMOUNT
The College will provide a one-year, partial tuition scholarship of $15,000 during the 2023-2024 academic year for Class of 2023 College students who enroll in an eligible UChicago Master's or professional program. This includes Class of 2023 undergraduates in an eligible joint degree program whose graduate degree program will extend beyond their College graduation into the 2023-2024 academic year.
You can browse a list of eligible programs in the "Qualifying Graduate Programs" section below. If your program will extend beyond Spring Quarter 2024, the Graduate Financial Aid team can also assist you with other forms of financial aid to help you complete the subsequent years of your studies.
HUMANITIES DIVISION MATCHING SCHOLARSHIP
Class of 2023 students who enroll in the Master of Arts Program in the Humanities or the Master of Arts in Digital Studies programs for the 2023-2024 academic year will be eligible for an additional $15,000 scholarship from the Division of the Humanities for a total of $30,000 when combined with the Rudolph Scholarship.
SOCIAL SCIENCES DIVISION MATCHING SCHOLARSHIP
Class of 2022 students who enroll in the Master of Arts Program in the Social Sciences or the Committee on International Relations program for the 2022-2023 academic year will be eligible for an additional $15,000 scholarship from the Social Sciences Division for a total of $30,000 when combined with the Rudolph Scholarship.
