The Adelaide University Union (AUU) will again offer Equal Access Grants in 2022 to assist financially disadvantaged students commencing studies at the University of Adelaide.
Priority is given to students starting their first year of university study. It is only in extremely rare circumstances that other students would be eligible for this grant.
It is intended that the grants will help buy books, stationery and other basic resources or help with other essential costs approved by the scheme's administrators.
The principal criterion will be financial need. Applicants should bring appropriate documentation with them to their interview (e.g. Centrelink health-care card, proof of Centrelink income).
The grants are one-off payments and range from $200-$500, depending on a student's circumstances, the number of applicants, and availability of funds.
