Stirlingshire Educational Trust awards small grants to current and former residents of Stirlingshire.
Please note, this scholarship is only available for Aberdeen campus students.
Grant for Travel Post-graduation Scholarship:
Purpose - Research work, advanced or special study for those who have obtained a degree. Each candidate should submit to SET a university programme of work/study to be undertaken by the applicant. Each award will be tenable for one year and may be extended on re-application at the discretion of the governors. Every candidate will be asked to provide documentary evidence of progress made from the university in support of his/her application.
The University of Aberdeen is a public research university in the city of Aberdeen, Scotland. It is an ancient university founded in 1495 when William Elphinstone, Bishop of Aberdeen, petitioned Pope Alexander VI on behalf of James IV, King of Scots to establish King's College, making it Scotland's third-oldest university and the fifth-oldest in the English-speaking world. All grants are awarded based on financial needs, personal circumstances, past due diligence and attainment and likely future premise. Applicant must also certify all income from employment by the employees concerned.
