Universities South Africa (USAf) is inviting applications from academics to take part in this programme.
The programme has a master trainer approach and will have 100 academic staff in the first cohort, with a strong focus on technology-enhanced teaching and learning approaches and strategies. Following a regional breakdown, the lecturers’ capacity development component of the programme will target up to 900 academic staff in an online and hybrid format.

The University of Cape Town (UCT) is South Africa's oldest university, and is one of Africa's leading teaching and research institutions. UCT was founded in 1829 as the South African College, a high school for boys. Professors, associate professors, senior lecturers, lecturers and junior lecturers are invited to apply for the Higher Education Leadership and Management (HELM) University Lecturer Development Programme (ULDP).
Interested academics must complete the relevant forms and submit them to the Office of the DVC: Teaching and Learning via email by no later than Monday, 22 February. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
