This year, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, UEA will be offering four GREAT Scholarships worth £10,000 in the following countries:
China, Egypt, India and Nepal
This prestigious scholarship scheme is part of the “GREAT Scholarships 2021” campaign, which has been launched by the British Council together with UK universities to support access to excellent UK higher education opportunities.
The total value of the scholarship scheme is over £800,000. This scholarship scheme will offer an exciting opportunity for students from the above countries wishing to obtain financial support to pursue study on degree levels in the UK.
The Great Scholarships are open to all passport holding nationals of the above countries who hold an offer of a place on a UEA postgraduate taught degree for September 2021 entry. These scholarships cannot be awarded in combination with any other UEA award.
International students from all over the world who wish to undertake undergraduate studies at the University of East Anglia (UEA) are advised tou apply for the International Undergraduate Scholarships. The awards are worth £1000 per year.
No qualifications need to have been taken. A high standard of performance can be demonstrated at audition. In the case of a musician performing in a style or tradition without a formal method of assessment this is particularly important. For those used to the graded exam system it may be useful to say that a performing standard of Grade 8 and above is a benchmark. Neither Grade 8 nor any other exam need either have been taken or passed.
