The Michael Smurfit MBA Scholarship will be awarded to an academically exceptional student who has demonstrated leadership and impact achievements in their career to date. They will be an ambassador for the Smurfit MBA and the School during their studies and after graduation.

Our role in educating business leaders stretches back over 100 years with the establishment of the UCD Faculty of Commerce in 1908. Today, UCD College of Business comprises UCD Lochlann Quinn School of Business, UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, Smurfit Executive Development and UCD International Business Campus. This merit based scholarship covers up to the full tuition fees for either the Full-Time, Executive or Modular MBA. GMAT score 700 or above required, or 149 and above in the Executive Assessment (EA).
Open to all successful MBA applicants scoring 700 or above on the GMAT and Executive MBA applicants scoring 700 or above on the GMAT or 149 and above in the Executive Assessment (EA)and cover full tuition fees.
There is no separate application process for this scholarship. All successful applicants for the Full-Time, Executive and Modular MBA are automatically considered. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Scholarships may be awarded prior to the closing date to exceptional candidates. Early application is recommended.
NB As scholarships are limited and there is significant competition, applicants residing in Ireland may be required to attend an assessment centre as part of the scholarship review process.
