The University of Sydney has introduced a scholarship for a PhD student to conduct research in the field of chemical engineering, computational fluid dynamics and heterogeneous chemical kinetics.
About the Research: Ph.D students are undertaking research in using advanced engineering reactors to become the next generation of processing technology that specifically targets the conversion of mixed and contaminated (non-recyclable), post-consumer waste plastic into feedstock materials for the virgin plastics manufacturing industry.

Successful applicants of the Chemical Recycling of Mixed Waste Plastics Research Scholarship, 2021 will recieve a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney’s Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate (indexed on 1 January each year) for up to 3 years.
