Organometallic Synthesis and Catalysis: New Methods to Make Carbon-Carbon and Carbon-Heteroatom Bonds

The candidate will work on the development, testing and evaluation of innovative catalytic processes to synthesize organic molecules with focus on renewable and recycled raw materials. We will apply the principles of green chemistry, with emphasis on prevention of waste, and on atom and energy efficiency. Martín-Matute´s group works on the development of new processes to make C-C and C-heteroatom bonds using a variety of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts, focusing in green methods for a sustainable and safe chemistry development.
