The Stephen Young Global Leaders’ Scholarship Programme (SYGL) seeks to honour Professor Stephen Young, a former Head of the Department of Marketing and Dr Huang’s supervisor and mentor during his PhD studies.
In his memory, the Charles Huang Foundation donation will fund up to five scholarship awards each year for scholars of exceptional merit undertaking the Strathclyde MBA on a full-time study basis (one year) in Glasgow.
The University of Strathclyde is a Scottish public research university located in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Founded in 1796 as the Andersonian Institute, it is Glasgow's second-oldest university. The university receiving its royal charter in 1964 as the UK's first technological university. It takes its name from the historic Kingdom of Strathclyde.

Successful candidates will achieve a full-fee scholarship to the Strathclyde MBA as well as a generous stipend to cover living costs during studies.
SYGL seeks to develop global leaders and talent in society and business. Alongside your MBA studies, each scholar will also be given the opportunity to benefit from certain leadership elements via the Stephen Young Institute (SYI) and be part of the wider SYI community.
