Startup Gov connects the perspectives of entrepreneurs, industry executives, and government representatives and creates opportunities for ideas, information and thoughtful exchange to occur. The program provides founders with a platform to share their perspectives with government officials and for the government to hear from founders from across Canada. The program also curates resources, and programs available at the Federal level to help streamline access to services for early stage founders through webinars and communications campaigns.
How we do it
Through a series of in-person roundtables across the country, webinars, educational resources, continued advocacy work, and communication campaigns, Startup Gov strives to streamline access to government services for early stage entrepreneurs and demystify programs and resources that are available to them.

Activities will occur over the course of a full calendar year with the aim of providing productive opportunities for entrepreneurs, private sector partners, and government to co-create a path forward as we look to entrepreneurship as a main driver for economic growth and stability in Canada.
Educate entrepreneurs on resources available to support them and provide awareness on how they can benefit from programs by showcasing the suite of government support and resources available to entrepreneurs.
Advocate on behalf of entrepreneurs and teach entrepreneurs how to become their own advocates by providing them with opportunities to share feedback, concerns, and recommendations with key government officials.
Create opportunities for entrepreneurs to gain first hand experience accessing government funding and support.
Provide networking opportunities for entrepreneurs to meet government officials.
