The Southern Institute of Technology is building on our ground-breaking English Language programme by offering unique scholarships that make quality education even more affordable.
Our scholarships allow you to study English for up to 26 weeks when you sign up to study for a year or more in one of our mainstream programmes. SIT's highly motivated and internationally experienced English Language tutors administer a robust and proven programme.
The General English Plus Examination Preparation (Training Scheme) caters for skill levels from beginners to advanced. Students are also prepared for the PTE Academic test. As a recipient of certificates in English Language, you can use your skills to undertake further study and training in your chosen field, and use English as your ticket to a world class future.

If students meet the English entry requirements and are accepted into a mainstream programme of at least one-year full-time duration, the upfront payment will be credited against the tuition fees for that mainstream programme.
Requirement: Students intending to undertake the 26 Week English Scholarship must provide an upfront payment of NZ $9,000 for the introductory English language programme.
Simply complete the International Student Application Form and tick the 26 Week English Scholarship box.
