The SMART Balkans Project announces the Public Call for Applications for National Interventions Grant
SMART Balkans Project, funded by the Norway Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is implemented by a consortium of organizations: Centar za promociju civilnog drustva (CPCD) from Bosnia and Herzegovina as a Lead Applicant, in partnership with the Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM) from North Macedonia, and Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) from Albania.
The overall objective of the Project is to contribute to strengthening participatory democracies and Euro-Atlantic integrations in the Western Balkans by empowering civil society organizations and CSO networks to play a stronger and more active role in creating peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia.
Specific objectives of the SMART Balkans project are:

National intervention Grants will provide funding for projects related to two main areas:
Within this call, at least 33 grants will be awarded in six Western Balkans countries, with a total value of 8 223 685 NOK (approximately 708 938 EUR).
Be a citizen of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia.
Ability to contribute in strengthening participatory democracies and Euro-Atlantic integrations in the Western Balkans by empowering civil society organizations and CSO networks to play a stronger and more active role in creating peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development
These instructions are designed to guide you through the registration process for web-based Grants Management Platform (GMP).
Before you start with the registration process it is important to know that only legal representative of the organization, or the legal entity can proceed with the registration on the GMP. At the later state, upon approved grants, for the purpose of the administration of the grants legally authorized representative of the registered organization, or legal entity may authorize another user of the GMP.
The supporting documents listed below should be uploaded in order for you to complete the registration process. Please have them ready in pdf or word format before you start the registration process:

This profile will be used for all grant communication, so please make sure it is up-to-date and fully accurate. This profile will be also visible to all other registered members of the GMP.
