RMIT University 2022 Digital Finance CRC (DF CRC) PhD Scholarship

Aim and Benefits of Digital Finance CRC (DF CRC) PhD Scholarship

The DF CRC – RMIT co-funded scholarship provides a stipend of $50,000 per annum and a Tuition Fee Scholarship, for a maximum of 3.5 years.


Requirements for Digital Finance CRC (DF CRC) PhD Scholarship Qualification

To be eligible for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

  • Meet RMIT’s academic entry requirements for Doctor of Philosophy programs 
  • Have a background in finance, economics, law or computer science.
  • Be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or an international student meeting the minimum English language requirements.
  • Have good oral and written communication skills.

You can apply directly to the DF CRC for the scholarship by visiting https://dfcrc.com.au/industry-phd/.  If successful in obtaining a DF CRC scholarship:

  • you will be connected with one of the DF CRC members to undertake an industry-based PhD project.  This scholarship program does not accommodate student-instigated projects;
  • you can then commence, continue or amend your RMIT EoI/application outlined here. Please note, the RMIT EoI/application process is independent of the DF CRC scholarship program, and obtaining a DF CRC scholarship does not guarantee you entry into a PhD program with RMIT.
