- Applicants get the opportunity to work in QUT's Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation
- Applicants get the opportunities to work close with:clinicians at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, informatics specialists at CSIRO’s e-Health Research Centre, and engineers at QUT.
- International applicants wil get the opportunity receive a QUT Tuition Fee Waiver Scholarship.
- Applicants will receive an annual stipend of $30,000 for up to three and a half years of full-time study

Requirements for Queen University of Technology Queen University of Technology 2021 PhD Scholarship Qualification
- Applicants from all nationalities are eligible.
- Applicants must commence full-time study at QUT prior to 30 June 2021.
- Applicants must currently live in Australia due to COVID-19 international travel restrictions.
- Applicants must not have already completed a PhD or equivalent degree.
- Applicants must hold a relevant degree of at least a first-class honours or equivalent, including: engineering, informatics, physics, and other related branch of study.
