Open Doors: Russian Scholarship Project is your chance for early admission to a tuition-free program at one of the leading universities in Russia.
The Olympiad is organized by The Association of Global Universities, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudichestvo). Winners and runners-up of the Master’s track should choose the Master’s study program, which is included in the Subject in which the participants were awarded a winner/runner-up status.
Then, they should choose one or several Universities, where this study program is offered.
The following step is to prepare and to upload in the Olympiad’s Personal account the list of the documents, required to apply for a quote (scholarship) via the Information system of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia.
Winners of the Doctoral (PhD) track should prepare and send the documents, required to apply for a quote (scholarship) via the Information system of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, directly to the University, where the scientific supervision was confirmed.
* Your tuition fees will be paid by the Government of the Russian Federation. You will be responsible for covering the travel and accommodation costs, insurance and personal expenses.
The application criteria for Open Doors Scholarships in Russia are quite easy and there are some specifications that you need to keep in mind in this regard. These specifications are as follows.

Registration: Hurry up to register and fill out all the information you need to participate in the Open Doors.
September 15th - December 10th, 2023
Portfolio filling: Prepare your portfolio. All research papers, certificates, awards and honors that you have ever received are of value. Please include all achievements in the selected Subject in your portfolio to increase your chances of success. The portfolio structure for all Subjects and tracks is unified.
December 10th, 2023
Deadline for portfolio submission: You will not be able to edit your portfolio after the deadline. While waiting for the result of your portfolio review, you can use a system of automatic assessment to estimate your approximate score. The system will be available in your personal account.

Only motivation letter and education level proof are mandatory for Portfolio submission. Without providing them, you won’t be able to submit your portfolio and take part in the second stage losing the opportunity to become a winner/prize-winner and get a scholarship through Open Doors.
The motivation letter must be typed (or “copy-pasted” from a document) into the corresponding form.
Educational documents are uploaded to the corresponding fields. The main educational document is the confirmation of your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. If you haven’t yet received your degree or haven’t got it available for any other reason, you can upload your official final transcript, the last or current year academic transcript, a scan of your grade sheet or other documents confirming your level of education. In this case you’ll have to provide the confirmation of your degree later, when getting admitted in the university.

All other documents in the Portfolio are optional. But their presence might boost the maximum score you’ll be able to get at the initial stage of the Olympiad.
