ONE has a network of Global Activists – in Africa, the United States, Europe and Canada – fighting against extreme poverty and preventable diseases. In the UK, the ONE Youth Ambassador programme – a one-year volunteer programme – is looking for passionate activists to join us for 2022.
ONE is a global movement campaigning to end extreme poverty and preventable disease by 2030, so that everyone, everywhere can lead a life of dignity and opportunity. We believe the fight against poverty isn’t about charity, but about justice and equality. Whether lobbying political leaders in world capitals or running cutting-edge grassroots campaigns, ONE pressures governments to do more to fight extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa, and empowers citizens to hold their governments to account. Being part of a group of 65 UK Youth Ambassadors and a Global Activists network of over 1,000 people (from Nigeria, Mali, Senegal, the United States, Canada, Italy, Belgium, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany and France)
? A written confirmation of service and certificate on completion of the programme to add to your CV
? Professional training and practical skills development in the UK Parliament, campaigning for change, media, social media and policy

A passion for our mission to end extreme poverty and preventable disease, with an interest in international issues
? Attendance at a programme induction and training around February/March 2022
? Willingness to attend monthly meetings (online and/or offline) and participate in social media actions
? Great communication and teamwork skills
? Ability to build and maintain relationships
? Ability to encourage and support others to take part in ONE campaigns
? Ability to develop strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload efficiently
? Verbal and written proficiency in English The language used in the programme is English. Priority in recruitment will be given to those living in the UK for the duration of the programme.
