MIF 2021 Fellowship for Natural Science, Engineering and Medicine (Japan)

Matsumae International Foundation (MIF) has started receiving applications for “2022 Research Fellowship Program” .

Upon the concept of the founder of the Matsumae International Foundation (MIF), “Towards A Greater Understanding of Japan and a Lasting World Peace”, MIF has started the Research Fellowship Program.

Fields of study such as natural science, engineering and medicine are given first priority. Candidates are free to select host institutions (university research laboratories, national research institutions or the corresponding facilities of private industry)

Requirements for MIf Fellowship Qualification

To be eligible, candidates must:

1. Be of non-Japanese nationality;
2. Have a Doctorate degree;
3. Be 49 years old or under;
4. Not have been in Japan previously;
5. Have firm positions and professions in their home nations
