Aim and Benefits of Marcus Oldham College Bachelors

Successful students receive an award of value up to $20,000.

• Should a first-year student be awarded the Greenham Agriculture Scholarship, $10,000 will be credited towards their first year of study fees. An additional $10,000 will be provided to the same recipient in their 2nd year of the Bachelor of Business (Agribusiness) or the 3rd year of the Bachelor of Business (Agriculture) subject to review of their communications and academic performances during their first year of study.
• Should a student in their 2nd year of the Bachelor of Business (Agribusiness) or the 3rd year of the Bachelor of Business (Agriculture) be awarded the Greenham Agriculture Scholarship, $20,000 will be credited to this year of study.
• The successful recipient may have the opportunity to carry out a work placement with Greenham. This incentive will be discussed on a case by case basis and dependent on availability within the Greenham organization at the time.

Requirements for Marcus Oldham College Bachelors Qualification

• Available to students studying Year 1 or Year 2 of the Agribusiness Program, and Year 1 or Year 3 of the Agriculture Program.
• Applicants must be dedicated to pursuing a career across the value chain (including production, processing, logistics and marketing) within the Beef or Dairy industry.
• Preference will be given to a Victorian or Tasmanian student studying at Marcus Oldham College, however, any student with a strong interest in the beef or dairy industry is encouraged to apply.

Your scholarship application must include:

• Your CV with the contact details of two referees
• A statement of your Year 12 results and university ENTER score if applied for
• Scholarship essay: 500-word essay answering the specific scholarship question(s)
  (located on each individual scholarship page under “Question”)
• College essay: 100-word essay answering, “What are your career goals and aspirations?”
• If applying for an Equine Management scholarship, two photographs of yourself riding/handling horses required

• Applications must be received at Marcus Oldham College no later than 5.00pm AEST, on the scholarships closing date. Applications can be submitted via email, fax and post.
