Each year Linnaeus University offers scholarships to outstanding students from countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland through the programme "Linnaeus University Scholarships" and "Linnaeus University Scholarship for Current Students"
Linnaeus University offers two differens scholarship programmes for the moment, Linnaeus University Scholarship and Linnaeus University Scholarship for Current Student.
Linnaeus University Scholarship programme is offered for students who study master programmes. Students can only apply for this scholarship before commencing the programme.
Linnaeus University for Current Students is offered for students who are already enrolled in a two- or three-year lasting programme at Linnaeus University. Students can only apply for this scholarship after commencing the programme.
Linnaeus University is a state university in the Swedish historical province Småland, with two campuses located in Växjö and Kalmar respectively. Linnaeus University was established in 2010 by a merger of former Växjö University and Kalmar University, and is named in honour of the Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus.

Up to 75% reduction of the tuition fees for the rest of the programme. The scholarships is initially granted for one semester, but will automatically be extended for the duration of the study program (2 up to 4 semesters), provided that study results are satisfactory.
What does the scholarship NOT include?
The scholarship does not cover living costs or other costs.
Linnaeus University's decision to award scholarships will primarily be based on the students' academic merits. Usually this is based on the CGPA, but the ranking of the previous university and the students' proficiency in English will also be considered. Linnaeus University also favors an even distribution of students when it comes to country of origin and gender.
Linnaeus University receives funding from a fund powered by the Swedish government.

Make sure to check your junk mail/spam folder. The email is sent out 8th of February.
February 8, 2023 - Application opens.
February 20, 2023 - Application closes at 13.00 (1.00 PM CET, Central European Time)
End of April - Announcement of who will be receiving a scholarship from Linnaeus University

Make sure to check your junk mail/spam folder. The email will be sent out on 8th of February.
The deadline for the application is February 20, 2023, 13.00 (1.00 PM CET). Remember that it is important to fully complete your application on www.universityadmissions.se and to submit the application form in order to qualify for our scholarship. Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

1. Make your programme application at www.universityadmissions.se by January 16. You have to choose Linnaeus University as your first choice.
