Keio University GIGA Scholarships for International Students: The Keio University, Japan is pleased to announce its Global Information and Governance Academic Program (GIGA) Scholarships for undergraduate students who are incoming first-year students for the 2023/24 academic year. Candidates exhibiting exceptional academic potentials are especially encouraged to apply.
The available scholarships are the Japanese Government (MEXT) and MASATADA KOBAYASHI Scholarships for the GIGA program at Keio University, Japan. Applicants may apply for both of the scholarships, but only one scholarship will be awarded if selected to be a recipient.

The following eligibility requirements apply to all of the scholarships. To be considered for these scholarships, you must:
•be accepted through the Winter AO 2022 (Global) screening [Admissions for the GIGA Program] to enter the Faculty of Policy Management, or the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, and enroll in September 2023 (applicants who wish to enroll in April are NOT eligible)
• be an incoming first-year student
• be a foreign national
Persons who hold any of the following Japanese residency statuses are NOT eligible to apply: Permanent Resident, Special Permanent Resident, Spouse or Child of Japanese National, Spouse or Child of Permanent Resident, or Long-Term Resident.
