KAIST 2021 International Student Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for international students. This scholarship is offered for masters and PhD studies.

In the late 1960s, as Korea shifted its focus from light industry to heavy industry, the lack of highly-educated scientists and engineers emerged as a serious problem. KAIST International Student Scholarship

Aim and Benefits of KAIST International Student Scholarship

• Full tuition fee: tuition exemption for 4 semesters (MS) / 8 semesters (PhD)
• Living expenses: 350,000 KRW per month (for MS) or 400,000 KRW per month (for PhD)
• Medical Insurance
• Additional Stipend can be available for research assistants.

Requirements for KAIST International Student Scholarship Qualification

• Applicants of International Student Admission
• Students must maintain GPA over 2.0 out of 4.3 at KAIST
• GPA requirement of Seoul campus may be different from the above requirement.
