IHE Delft’s MSc Programme in Water and Sustainable Development educates future water leaders, and through the Water Leader Scholarship, the Institute will offer financial support to four students with particularly strong leadership potential.

IHE Delft Institute for Water Education is the largest international graduate water education facility in the world and is based in Delft, the Netherlands. The Institute confers fully accredited MSc degrees, and PhD degrees in collaboration with partner universities.

Water Leader Scholarship

Aim and Benefits of Water Leader Scholarship

The Water Leader Scholarship waives the full tuition fee of the MSc Programme in Water and Sustainable Development (2022/23) for the top winner and waives half of the tuition fee for three others.

Requirements for Water Leader Scholarship Qualification

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria:

• Academic record
• Relevant work experience
• Their ambition to contribute to the fulfilment of water-related Sustainable Development Goals after graduation, as expressed in their motivation as part of the application for admission

Application Deadline

How to Apply

• Step 1. Obtain academic admission to MSc in Water for Sustainable Development (by 15 May 2022 the latest).
• Step 2. Upon academic admission, submit the application form by sending it to [email protected] (by 1 June 2022 the latest).

The final outcome will be communicated to applicants by the end of June 2022.
