This in-person meeting and training course will provide a forum to discuss risk factors and the increasing burden of vascular and neurodegenerative diseases including HIV Dementias in the context of incidence and prevention in cross-cultural populations in Low and Middle Income Countries compared to Europe, North America and Japan. The emphasis is particularly on how we measure cognition in the elderly and implement neuropsychometeric tools.
I have had a unique opportunity to appreciate how effective IBRO is as a really worldwide organization in neuroscience, highly flexible and with minimal bureaucracy.
