The Fraser of Allander Institute (FAI) is delighted to offer 6 partial Scholarships for Home and EU students who hold an offer to join the Full Time MSc Applied Economics programme in September 2024.
The Fraser of Allander Institute (FAI) at the University of Strathclyde entered Scottish public life in 1975. In the 40 years since, it has become established as a leading independent economic research institute focused on the Scottish economy.
The University of Strathclyde is a Scottish public research university located in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Founded in 1796 as the Andersonian Institute, it is Glasgow's second-oldest university. The university receiving its royal charter in 1964 as the UK's first technological university. It takes its name from the historic Kingdom of Strathclyde.

Fraser of Allander Institute (FAI) offers 6 partial Scholarships of £6000 for Home and EU students who hold an offer to join the Full Time MSc Applied Economics programme in September 2024.
In order to be considered for this scholarship award, applications should be submitted no later than the closing date of 30th June 2024. Successful candidates will be notified shortly thereafter.
Candidates must be self-funded (ie. not in receipt of any funding from any other scholarships, employer sponsorship, etc) and already hold an offer of a place on the Full Time Msc Applied Economics programme for entry September 2024.
Candidates interested in applying should provide a maximum 1000 word statement demonstrating, through their ideas, experience and future career plans (including their reasoning for joining the MSc Applied Economics) why they should be awarded this scholarship. Candidates will also be considered on the overall quality of their application and financial need.
Please note that students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.
*These Scholarships are only available to students who are classified Home fee status - ie: Scotland, Rest of the UK or EU with Settled Status
